Ski-in/ski-out at Falcade is mainly at the Passo San Pellegrino, where a string of hotels sit right on the pistes. Down in the village proper you take the gondola, and a few addresses on the lower slopes get close.

Properties beside the Funivia Alleghe in the village put you on the cable car to Piani di Pezze in minutes; lodgings up at Piani di Pezze and Pian del Crep are true ski-in/ski-out.

Piancavallo's car-free plateau means most hotels are within 200 m of a lift, with a handful of true ski-in/ski-out properties on the Tremol side.

Roccaraso spreads across several bases. The town itself has a gondola up to the slopes but sits below them, while the linked sectors of Aremogna and Pizzalto have hotels right on the piste for genuine ski-in ski-out. Stay in Roccaraso for the nightlife, restaurants and buzz, or up at Aremogna to ski straight from the door.

Sappada's lifts cluster at the Pian dei Nidi and Sappada 2000 bases, both a short distance from the main village. A few hotels at Sappada 2000 offer true ski-in/ski-out; in the historic Borgate, expect a short walk, ski-bus or quick drive to the lifts.

Folgaria has a couple of true ski-in/ski-out hotels at Fondo Grande and Francolini, but the village core stands a five-minute drive or skibus from the lifts. Read the location carefully before booking.

Aprica is one of the few small Italian resorts where genuine ski-in/ski-out is realistic: the village lies right at the foot of the Magnolta and Palabione lifts, and several hotels along the main road let you click in and out at the door. Properties at the village's lower end will still need a short walk or shuttle.

Base 1180 m · Pistes 50 km

Because the main lift station is right in the medieval centre, several hotels on or just off the main square are effectively ski-in/ski-out, you walk fifty steps in your boots and you are on the chair. A few properties further along the valley road require a short shuttle.
