Get to know the resort
Andalo sits on a sunny plateau under the Paganella ridge, looking out toward the Brenta Dolomites, with 50 km of piste that link it to neighbouring Fai della Paganella. The skiing is wide, well groomed and almost entirely intermediate, with a strong dedicated beginner area and a famous kids' club at the base of the gondola. With car-light pedestrian streets, big swimming pools and short transfer from Verona, it has earned a steady reputation as one of the best family ski weeks in Italy.
Good to know
- The terrain is well balanced: 0 green, 16 blue, 24 red and 10 black runs, which suits a mixed group skiing together at different levels.
- From 1042 m at the base to 2125 m up top, the resort leans on grooming and snowmaking in lean spells (score 78/100).
- With 50 km of piste on 18 lifts, it is a mid-size area, easy to get to know in a long weekend.
- The lifts typically turn for about 17 weeks a season, planning around late January to late February tends to land the most reliable cover.
