Pinzolo

Pinzolo sits in the Val Rendena at 770 m, a working valley town with a gondola climbing the Doss del Sabion and a lift link over the ridge to Madonna di Campiglio. The Adamello-Brenta peaks rise on both sides, and the joint Skirama Dolomiti pass opens around 150 km of piste for a fraction of the Campiglio room rate.

Ski-in/ski-out

Pinzolo is a valley town, so true ski-in/ski-out is rare: most hotels sit a short walk or ski bus from the gondola base. A few properties at Carisolo and on the lower slopes do put you on snow.

Get to know the resort

The Pinzolo side of the domain has been shaped for families and intermediates, with wide blue and red pistes coming off the Doss del Sabion summit and an easier gradient than the Campiglio bowls. The Tulot Audi Quattro from Pradalago is the textbook long red home run when you come back over the ridge, and the Spinale and Grostรจ sectors above Campiglio are an easy lift sequence away. Hotels cluster along Via Bolognini in the old town and at the gondola base in Madonna del Carisolo, with shuttle and ski bus laid on. Prices for board, ski school and rentals run noticeably below Campiglio, which is the reason most Italian families come here. The Adamello-Brenta Nature Park is on the doorstep for snowshoe and ski-touring days when you want a break from the lifts. Evenings stay calm: a few wine bars, a couple of pizzerie, and bed.
