Wagrain feels designed for the second-week family return: a tidy village with a pedestrian high street, plenty of mid-range hotels and Gasthof beds, and a Grafenberg gondola starting from the village itself. The Snow Space Salzburg circuit links three valleys across the Grießenkareck and Grafenberg summits, with a mix of cruising blues for the kids, long red descents for the adults and the Absolut Park snowpark down at Flachauwinkl for teenagers. Ski Amadé widens the horizon to 760 km, with shuttle access to Schladming, Großarl and Gastein if conditions push you to look elsewhere.
