Get to know the resort
Schladming is the hub of the 4-Berge Skischaukel, four linked mountains (Planai, Hochwurzen, Hauser Kaibling and Reiteralm) totalling 123 km of mostly wide, cruisey piste in the Styrian Dachstein. The town is best known for its electric World Cup night slalom each January, a floodlit spectacle with tens of thousands of fans. It is part of the giant Ski amadΓ© pass, lively, well-organised and a reliable all-rounder for families and intermediates.

- At 123 km of piste on 44 lifts, it is a substantial mountain that earns a multi-day stay.
- The lifts typically turn for about 17 weeks a season, planning around late January to late February tends to land the most reliable cover.
