Ski-in/ski-out

Pragelato is a sunny old village in the Val Chisone; many residences sit on the snow-front by the lifts that climb up to Sestriere and the Via Lattea.

Get to know the resort

Pragelato spreads along the sunny Val Chisone, an old Waldensian village now linked by gondola straight up to Sestriere on the giant Via Lattea, around 400 km of piste shared with Sauze d'Oulx and Montgenรจvre across the French border. It hosted the cross-country and ski-jumping events of the 2006 Turin Olympics and keeps a strong nordic side. As an alpine base it is quieter and notably better value than the famous Olympic resorts up the road, with a fast cable car to all of them included on the pass.
