In Italy, Cervinia's early-season pricing and the entire South Tyrol Ortler Skiarena pass remain bargains for European standards, and tucked-away gems like Sappada in the eastern Dolomites or Ponte di Legno on the Tonale glacier give you genuine alpine skiing without the Cortina markup.
