Predazzo

Predazzo sits where the Val di Fiemme bends towards the Latemar, a 1,020 m mining and forestry town that the lifts of the Ski Center Latemar now wire into a 100 km circuit with Pampeago and Obereggen. The Latemar pinnacles loom over every run, and the rebuilt Stadio del Salto hosts the 2026 Olympic ski-jumping and Nordic combined.

Ski-in/ski-out

Predazzo is a real working town and ski-in/ski-out is essentially limited to a handful of hotels at the Gardonè lift base, a few minutes by skibus from the centre. Otherwise expect a short transfer to the cable car.

Get to know the resort

From the cable car at Gardonè you climb to Passo Feudo and onto the Latemarium, a panoramic ridge with sweeping reds that drop south into Obereggen and west into Pampeago. The pistes are wide, the snowmaking is total, and the area earns its Trentino reputation for grooming. Ski tourers head off the back of the Predazzo summits towards the Catinaccio for serious days. Down in the village the Olympic stadium has changed the skyline, and the Sport Center Predazzo lets you watch summer jumpers off the K125. The valley's cross-country trails roll right through town, so a half-day on skinny skis along the Avisio is the easy second activity. Eating means hutspeak from the rifugi up top and proper restaurants in the centre, all leaning into Trentino game, polenta and Casolet cheese. Hotels concentrate on Via Cesare Battisti and around the Sport Center, with a free skibus loop to the Gardonè lift.
