Get to know the resort
Val Louron is a small, sun-trapped resort in the quiet Louron valley of the central Pyrenees, designed around gentle, sheltered slopes that make it a favourite for families and first-timers. Its 22 km of piste rise to about 2240 m with lovely views over the Louron and toward the Pic du Midi, never crowded and easy to navigate. Just below, the modern Balnéa thermal spa at Loudenvielle, the largest in the Pyrenees, makes for a memorable end to a ski day.
