Get to know the resort
La Pierre Saint-Martin sits on a remarkable limestone plateau in the far western Pyrenees, right on the Spanish frontier and famous in caving circles for some of the deepest shafts on earth. The 30 km of mostly open, sunny piste rise to about 2150 m, easy to read and well suited to families and beginners, with wide views over the Béarn peaks. It is a tidy, modern, slope-side resort where almost everything is a short slide from the lifts.
Good to know
- The terrain is well balanced: 5 green, 9 blue, 10 red and 3 black runs, which suits a mixed group skiing together at different levels.

- It is a compact resort, 30 km of piste on 16 lifts, best as a day trip or a relaxed short break rather than a week-long base.
- The lifts typically turn for about 16 weeks a season, planning around late January to late February tends to land the most reliable cover.
