Ski-in/ski-out

True ski-in/ski-out is limited in the village. A few hotels near the Col di Cugnan lift base come close; otherwise it is a few minutes by foot or shuttle.

Get to know the resort

If Cortina is the parade, San Vito is the village next door where ordinary life carries on. The 23 km local network on Col di Cugnan suits families and intermediate skiers, with long blues and one or two more committed reds in the trees, and the Cinque Torri and Falzarego sectors of the Cortina domain are a short drive up the road for bigger days. Cross-country skiing along the Boite is a real strength, and ski touring into the Antelao and Pelmo group is on the menu for the experienced. The village keeps its Cadore character: stone bell-tower, modest squares, family-run trattorie serving casunziei and Cadore cheeses. For everything Cortina offers minus the price tag, this is the smart choice.
