Ski-in/ski-out

Hintertux is a small village at the foot of its glacier; hotels sit by the valley gondola, with skiing possible 365 days a year up top.

Get to know the resort

At the very head of the Zillertal, the Hintertux glacier is famous as the only place in the Alps open for skiing 365 days a year, rising to 3250 m. The 60 km of glacier and valley piste are high, reliable and a magnet for early-season training and powder days, with the Gefrorene Wand cirque holding superb snow. It joins the rest of the Zillertal on the regional Superskipass, so a single ticket reaches well over 500 km across the valley.
