Park City Mountain
Very good · 4.8k reviews
A polished, high-end base for Park City when you want to be properly looked after after a day on the snow.

Two Utah neighbours, two philosophies. Park City is the vast, lively historic town where snowboarders are welcome, while Deer Valley next door is ski-only, pampered, perfectly groomed and upscale calm.

Pick Park City for sheer size, a buzzing historic Main Street, plenty of nightlife, snowboarders welcome and Epic Pass access to the largest resort in the United States by area. Pick Deer Valley if you ski (not ride), want flawless grooming, top-tier service, fewer crowds and an upscale, family-friendly calm, all on the Ikon Pass right next door.
Park City and Deer Valley sit side by side in Utah, yet they feel worlds apart. Park City is huge, the largest resort in the United States by area at 410km, rising from 2103m to 3047m, and it wraps around a historic, lively Main Street with mining-era roots, plenty of bars and Epic Pass access for skiers and snowboarders alike. Deer Valley is smaller at 150km, from 1942m to 2918m, and stays famously exclusive, skiers only, with no snowboards on the mountain, immaculate grooming and some of the best service in the country. Snow quality is excellent at both, scoring 89 and 88, thanks to Utah's light, dry powder. The mood is the real divide: Park City is big, social and historic, while Deer Valley is upscale, quieter, old-money and family-oriented on the Ikon Pass. Choose Park City for size, town life and snowboarding, and Deer Valley for pampered, groomed, ski-only elegance.
