The Tour d'Ai dominates the skyline above the resort, and the rotating Berneuse restaurant at 2,048 m turns a full circle through the Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva view roughly every hour and a half. Down in the village, international boarding schools have shaped a quietly cosmopolitan high street of cafes, sports shops and chalet hotels stretched along the south-facing terrace.
