Get to know the resort
Spread across the linked sectors of Prapoutel, Pipay and Le Pleynet on the Belledonne range, Les 7 Laux is Grenoble's big local mountain, with 120 km of piste rising to around 2400 m. The aspect and altitude give it surprisingly good snow for its modest fame, and the terrain runs from gentle forest blues to genuinely steep blacks and excellent off-piste. It is superb value and an easy drive from the city, busy with locals at weekends but blissfully quiet on weekdays.
