The layout is unusual: the village sits on a shelf and the best, longest runs are up on the glacier, reached by a chain of lifts to 3,600 m. That makes it snow-sure and a paradise for beginners and freestylers, while the long red back to town and the off-piste towards La Grave keep stronger skiers busy.
