Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise

A cult freeride hideaway between Les Arcs and Val d'Isère, Sainte-Foy has only a handful of lifts but a big reputation for untracked powder. It stays quiet, friendly and refreshingly unhurried.

Ski-in/ski-out

The compact resort village at 1550 m is genuinely ski-in/ski-out, with modern chalet-residences opening straight onto the home slope; the prettier old hamlets sit just below.

Get to know the resort

Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise is the Tarentaise valley's best-kept secret: five lifts, around 40 km of marked piste, and some of the finest lift-served off-piste in the Alps. Powder hounds come for the long north-facing runs off the Col de l'Aiguille and the views over the abandoned hamlet of Le Monal, while families enjoy short queues and gentle, sunny slopes near the base. The slope-side village is built in stone and wood, and the old hamlets of Le Miroir and Bonconseil keep a genuine Savoyard soul.
