Get to know the resort
Les Contamines-Montjoie is a genuine Savoyard village strung along a valley below Mont Blanc, with a baroque church and a low-rise, lived-in feel rather than the look of a built resort. Its 120 km of piste face largely north and sit high, which gives it a reputation for some of the best, longest-lasting snow in the Mont Blanc area, with terrain that rewards confident intermediates and experts. Quiet, scenic and a short hop from Chamonix, it is the choice of skiers who want snow and atmosphere over nightlife.
