Get to know the resort
Arêches-Beaufort lies deep in the Beaufortain, a green, traditional corner of Savoie famed for its Beaufort cheese and chalet-dotted hillsides. The 50 km of piste are modest in number but big on character and snow, with a north-leaning aspect that draws a devoted following of off-piste and ski-touring fans, including the legendary Pierra Menta race. It is a genuinely authentic village resort, low on glitz and high on charm, perfect for skiers who want the real Savoyard mountains.
