Pralognan-la-Vanoise sits at 1,410 m at the gateway to France's first national park, a Savoyard village that never traded its stone barns for tower blocks. The lifts of Mont Bochor and Becquetta serve a modest 27 km of piste with a north-facing aspect that holds snow well into spring.
