Nassfeld is Carinthia's biggest ski area, draped across the Italian border at the pass of the same name. The Millennium Express gondola climbs from Tröpolach to 2,020 m and 110 km of mostly south-facing pistes, sunny and snowy in the same breath thanks to the Adriatic moisture punching up the valley.
