Morillon is the quiet Giffre-valley entrance to the Grand Massif, a working Savoyard village at 700 m that connects by gondola into the same 265 km lift system as Flaine, Samoëns, Les Carroz and Sixt. The Morillon-1100 plateau higher up holds the ski-in/ski-out apartments, while the village down below keeps its everyday character. The cult Cascades run, the 14 km descent from Flaine, finishes here.
