Crévoux is barely a village, a cluster of stone houses at 1,600 m above Embrun where the southern Hautes-Alpes start to feel Mediterranean. Seven lifts and 17 km of piste keep the day-skiing modest, but the Parpaillon massif lays out one of the best ski-touring backyards south of Briançon. The sun does most of the work here.
