The Silvretta Arena links Austrian Ischgl with Swiss Samnaun across the Paznaun-side ridge, for 239 km of mostly-above-2000 m piste served by 45 lifts. Snow-sure to early May thanks to altitude and aspect, with the famous double-decker cable car carrying skiers back from the Samnaun duty-free shops to the Alp Trida and on into Austria. Two countries on one pass, one of Europe's biggest high-altitude domains.
