Alta Valtellina
Bormio and Santa Caterina Valfurva on one Alta Valtellina pass, 115 km in the Stelvio National Park.
About the domain
The Alta Valtellina pass links historic Bormio with snow-sure Santa Caterina Valfurva at the edge of the Stelvio National Park, around 115 km of mostly red and black piste with a serious World Cup pedigree. Bormio brings the brutally steep Stelvio downhill course and 1800 m of vertical from 3012 m, while Santa Caterina adds Olympic-grade racing terrain at higher altitude. With Roman thermal baths in Bormio as a bonus, it is a strong-skier base in one of Italy's most spectacular alpine corners.
